QSP created a beautiful masterpiece combining modern day premium materials with an old but very reliable design. Despite the noticeable lack of a half stop, the Mustang is an excellent choice for anyone searching for a good working blade with great design & craftsmanship. My wife actually gifted me with mine for our 38th Anniversary, but was unlucky in that she got #039. #038 would've been sweet!! I have several QSP knives, and this has become one of my favorites, I carry it every day.
I'm really impressed by this limited edition Mustang. The materials, fit and finish, and design really caught my eye . The Desert ironwood has a beautiful grain and smooth luxurious feel . And the Raffir fossilized molar tooth is an amazing addition. How cool is it to have not only a knife but a piece of ancient history .
